AN ORDINANCE GRANTING TO THE MISSOURI- PACIFIC
RAIL"7AY COMPANY THE RIGHT TO LAY TWO SPUR TRACKS
ACROSS LINCOLN AVENUE-
Whereas, Lincoln Avenue, with other streets, is being
improved by Street Improvement District Number 508, and,
Whereas. the Missouri- Pacific Railway Company has two
spur tracks across Lincoln Avenue;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1: That the Missouri- Pacific Railway Company
be, and it is hereby granted the privilege of construct-
ing two spur tracks across Lincoln Avenue and to operate
their trains over the same for a period of thirty (30)
years from this date. The first crossing to be at a point
on the center line of Lincoln Avenue, located 1040 feet
in a Westerly direction from the East line of Section 4,
Township 1 North, Range 12 West. The second track to be
located 1532 feet Test of the East line of Section 4, Town-
ship 1 North, Range 12 West, on Lincoln Avenue. Both of
said tracks to be at an angle and grade to be approved by
the City Engineer and Engineer of Street Improvement District
Number 508.
Section 2: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance-
shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage
and approval, and the City Clerk is hereby instructed, within
twenty days from the date of the passage of this ordinance,
to publish the same in some newspaper of general circulation
in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for one insertion.
