AN ORDINANCE TO FIX THE RATE OF TAXATION FOR THE
PURPOSE OF PAYING THE BONDS. ISSUED IN PURSUANCE OF ORDINANCE
NO. 4 #97
WHEREAS Ordinance No. 4497 provided for a tax
levy of sixty-five one - hundredths f.65) of a mill for the
purpose of paying the bonds issued to provide funds for
the construction of a municipal airports for a fire alarm
system and fire - fighting apparatus and an addition to the
Little Rock General Hospital and equipment therefor;
AND WHEREAS said tax is more than is necessary to
pay said bonds, with the interest thereon= and it would be
more convenient to make up the tax books with a rate of
sixty -four and one -third hundredthv of a mill. (.64 -1/3);
NOT THEREFOREs BE IT OEDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCKr

Section 1. The tax provided for by Ordinance No.47C'
is hereby reduced to the rate of sixty -four and one -third
hundredths (.64 -1/3) of a mill per annum= and shall so run
until otherwise ordered by this council.
Section 2. This ordinance shall t ake effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
