DISTRICT No. S- OF A CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK ARKANSAS.
Whereas, parties claiming to be the owners of a majority in asseesed
value*of the property located within the territory hereinafter described
have filed a petition praying that an improvement district be established
?g for the ,purpose hereinafter set o-at.

Whereas, after due notice as required by lair, the City Council of the
City of Little Rock has heard all parties desiring to be heard, and has
ascertained that said petition was signed by a majority of more than fifty
per cent in assessed value of the owners of real property within said
territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAUZED by the City Council of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas;
Sec. 1. There is hereby established an improvement district embracing
the following property; All that real property lying within 140 feet north of
the north property line, and all that real property lying within 140 feet soulk
of the south property line, respectively, of "U" Street from Van Buren Street
to Taylor Street; for the p r-;ose of �ra.ding and paving "U" Street froin Van
Buren Street to Taylor Street, in such manner and with such materials as the
commissioners to 'be a),Dointed shall deterriine to be for the best interests
of the district.
Said district small be known as Street Improvement District No. 511 of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansan; and Frans Weber,, L. D. Owen, and �.
S7ilbourn are hereby named _coriunissioners, who shall coLgose the Board of
Improvement for said District.
Sec. 2.. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage.
