ORDINANCE NO.14_4_3 o
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE SALE OF PROPERTY KNOWN
AS KAVANAUGH FIELD TO THE SPECIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT OF LITTLE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK.
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute and deliver tothe Special School Distric
of Little Rock a warranty deed in the name of the City of Little
Rock, conveying to said S chool District, subject to the exist-
ing lease tolhe Little Rock Baseball A ssociation and to the
extension of same to October 1, 1530, as provided by Ordinance
No.4429 ,passed May 20, 19291 the property known as Kavanaugh
Field described as follows, to -wit: Beginning on the South
Line of W eat Fourteenth Street in the City of Dittle Rock at
a point Six Hundred Sixty (660) feet W eat of the Southwest
corner of W6st Fourteenth Street and Park A venue, running
thence W eat along the South line of W eat Fourteenth Street a
distance of Three Hundred Fifty -nine (359) feet; thence South
Forty -five (45) Minutes W eat Six Hundred Sixty -two (662) feet
to the North line of W eat Sixteenth Street; thence East along
the North line of West Sixteenth Street a distance of Three
Hundred Fifty -nine (359) feet; thence North Forty -five (45)
Minutes East Six Hundred Sixty -one (661) feet to point of
beginning; being all of that certain parcel of land which was
conveyed by the Little Rook Railway & Electric Company to the
City of Little Rock by deed dated July 18th, 1913, except the
East Six Hundred Sixty (660) feet thereof, which comprised
Blocks Sixteen (16), Seventeen (17), Eighteen (18), Twenty-
five (25), Twenty -six (26), and
