HomeMy WebLinkAbout4426U Ordinance No. 4426. AN ORDINANCE TO PREVERT THE MISBRANDING OF BOTTLE STATER AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK: 13 `64�gd after the passage of this ordinance it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or oorporat# the purpose of selling any >>a*ay bottle or container upon which is cast, stamped or affixed in a permanent manner any name, trade -mark ,or device as a means of identification of an established product, any person, firm or corporation other than the one whose name or trade -mark appears upon said bottle or container. Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or cor- tion to use or have in their Dossession for the purpose of re- filling, exchanging or reselling any such bottle or container ex- cept such persons, firms or corporations whose name or trade -mark ippears upon said bottle or container, and all such bottles or ppaUinera found.in the possession of any person, firm or oft0oftt fbr.ths: above described purposes shall be delivered upon demand to person or persons whose names or tAde -mark appears thereon.- Section 3. The selling, exchanging or refilling of such bottle containers is declared to be a menance to the public health and well are of the citizens of Little Rock and any person, firm or corporati iolating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed uilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined in any um not less than $10.00 or more than $50.00.
