ORDINANCE N0. 4422
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4155 OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, and FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE•ROOK, ARKANSAS:

Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No.
4155 be - -,mod the
same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 1. That Rule 35 of Section 290
of
Halel s Digest of
City Ordinances and Resolutions be, and the same
is hereby amended by
striking out the first paragraph and inserting therefor
the following:
Standing Committees of the
City
Council shall be
appointed
by the President annually on entering
upon
the duties of his
office and shall be as follows, the first named
on each committee to
be the Chairman thereof:.
1.
City Beautiful

Members
2.
Civic Affairs
7
',Members
3.
Finance
5
Members
4.
Fire
5
Members
5.
Health
5
Members

Improvement District
5

On committees composed of three members, two
shall constitute a quorum, and on those committees composed of more
than three members, three shall constitute a quorum.
Each of said committees shall investigate and
promptly report to the Council on all matters that may be referred
to them by the Council.
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall take
effect and be in force from and after its passage.
