(j`� ORDINANCE No. 4404.
An Ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor and the City
Clerk to convey certain real estate belonging to the City
of Little Rock.
WEEE S, the City of Little Roc. purchased the west
half of lot 4, Block 4, Jones & Worthen<fdition, Little Rook,
Arkansas, several years 'ago for the purpose of straightening and
widening Brown Street between 10th Street and 11th Street;
J... WB$RW, during the last year the said Brown Stre.s
between 10th and 11th Streets has been paved, and all of said
above described property has been utilized in the widening of
said Brown Street except 10.15 feet off the West half of Lot 4,
Block 4, Jones & Worthen Addition; and
B there is now past due and delinquent assess-
ment of various Improvement Districts totaling $161.97 against
the said west half of Lot 4, Block 4, Jones & Worthen Addition;
and
WH&REl1S, J. H. Sanders, the owner of the east half of
Lot 4, Block 4, Jones & Worthen Addition to the City of Little
Book, is desirous of aoquiring said above described strip cd land
from the City of Little Rook, and in consideration for said Deed
of Conveyance agrees to pay the City of Little Rook $25.00 in
sash and to pay the delinquent taxes on said strip; and the Coun-
oil finding it advantageous to the City of Little Rook to convey
said strip of ground to said J. H. Sanders, for the considera-
tions herein contained:

Hack, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, be and they are hereby authorized and
directed, upon payment of the sum of $25.00 to the City of Little
Rook, to convey by Quit Claim Dead the following described prop-
erty to the said J. H. Sanders, his heirs and assigns forever,
to wit:
The east 10.15 feet of the west half of Lot 4, Block 4,
Jones & Worthen Addition to the City of Little Rock; in vhioh deed
the said J. H. Sanders shall assume and agree to pay all delin-
quent improvement taxes on said property so conveyed by the City
of Little Rook.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in oonfliot herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinanoe shall
be in. full force and effect from and after its passage.
