SAS, more than ten owners of real property within on "Lit tle -Reek, Pulaski County, Arkansas, het'611Ta rF_ described, have petitioned the City Council to take steps toward making of local improvements therein by forming the territory here- inafter described into an improvement district for the purposes hereinafter set out. THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Little Rock: Section 1. That said Street Improvement District No. 509 of the City of Little Rock be, and the same is hereby created and �' improvements therein established for the purpose of making local irnproveme �� � � ` V draining, grading, curbing, gutterin �� min � aC uirin ;= g q' right -of -way, where necessary, the following streets: East Second Street from the west line of 2ailler Street to the east line of Lot 5, Block A, Fletcher & Clark,8. - riddition. John Street from the south line of East Second Street to the south line of East Third Street. East Third Street from the east line of John Street to the east line of Parker Street. Parker Street from the south line of East Third Street to the south line of Garland's Addition; across right -of -way to be acquired from the south line of Garland's Addition between Blocks 30 and 31, Garland's Addition to the east line of the County Road, also known as Bond Street. The County Road or Bond Street, lying east'of the Missouri Pacific Railway Company's right -of -way from a point 300 feet southeasterly from the south line of East 6th __Street- to a point 280 feet from the south line of 9th Street, as Measured along the east line of the County Road or Bond Street; East 9th Street from the west line of the County Road or Bond Street to the west line of the 1issouri Pacific Railway Company's right -of- way, all to be done in such manner and with such materials as the com- missioners of said district shell deterr:�ine to be for the best in- terests of the district; in accordance t;rith an ict of the General Assembly of the Stcite of Arkansas entitled ,t..� .ct to Regulate :-► 2 Local Improvements in Cities of the First Class ", approved March 22, 1881, and amendments thereto; that the boundaries of said district shall include tile following property: All that part of Russell's Addition lying east of the north and south center line of Blocks 10 and 11 of Russell's Addition. Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances rOpealed, and this ordindn -a -t s taYl take effect and be in force from and after its passage, and the City Clerk is hereby ordered within tvrenty days from the date of its ras- sage to publish the sczae in some newspaper published in the City of Little Rock for one insertion.
