HomeMy WebLinkAbout4371ORDINANCE NO. 4371. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 102 OF ORDINANCE NO. 5913, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. That Section 102 of Ordinance No. 5913 be amended to read as follows; "Section 102. LOADING AND UNLOADING ZONES. Load- ing and unloading zones fifty (50) feet in length shall be marked by the Police Department near the middle of each block in the Congested District; on the north side of West Fourth Street from Main Street to the alley to the west, and on the north side of West Sixth Street beginning at the alley between Main and Louisiana and extending seventy -five (75) feet east- ward toward Main Street; the north side of East Markham Street- from the west property line of Rector Avenue to the alley east, and the south side of East Markham Street from the east property line of Rector Avenue to the alley east; and east and west sides of Ferry Street extending north fifty toot from Third Street. It shall be unlawful for any driver of any vehicle to park in these zones or to stop, except momentarily to discharge or pick up passengers. It shall be unlawful for drivers of trucks or delivery wagons to use these zones except where no alley exists." Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and "I be in force from and after its passage, and all ordinances and parts of ordinances, only insofar as they conflict herewith, are repealed.
