AN ORDINANCE LSSESSING THE VALUE OF THE BENE- FITS TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL LOTS, BLOCKS OR OTHER SUBDIVISIONS OF LAND WITMN STREET P2ROVELMNT DISTRICT NO. 492 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROG$9 1117YEAS, a majority in value of the owners of real property owning real property adjoining the locality to be affected, situate within Street Improvement District No. 492 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of making local improvements therein by grading, draining, curbing, guttering and paving in such manner and with such materials as the comissioners of said district shall determine to be for the best interests of the district the streets set out in their petition, have petitioned the City Council of the City of Little Rock for the construction of said improvement and the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property within said district, according to the benefits received; and jHEREA.S, said benefits received by each and every lot, block or other subdivisions of land situate within said district equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is $45,604.02; THEREFORE, it is now ordained by the City Council of the City of Little Rock: Section 1: That the said several lots, blocks or other subdivisions of land within said Street Improvement District No. 492 be and they are hereby assessed according to the assessment list for said improvement district as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk of the City `u' be annually readjusted by the of Little Rock, and^the same- may Board of Assessors, and'that ten per centum (10 %) of said assessmentsof the value of the benefits on each of said lots, blocks or other subdivisions of land in said district shall be paid annually on or before the 1st day of September of each year, beginning September 101988, until the whole of said assesements has beet`'PatC ' Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage. Passed April 23, 1928.
