Ferguson a strip of ground 25 feet wide by 210 feet deep and named as 28th treet, and vhereas there has been another street opened through from Broadway to yrch Street known as 23th Street T1H REF ORE, BE IT ORDdIi,1ED 1'Y TITHE CITY COT7a7dCIL OF CITY 1 11� J OF LITTLE ROCK A.RK.1713 ia: Section 1- This Council loth now find that the Cit .,, of Little Rock has a population of more than fifteen thous- and inha.,itants as Shown by the last 'Federal census; and that there was platted a strip of ground 25 fact wide by 210 feet limn- as being part of _93th and this Council does further find that there has since been dedicated to the City of Little Roc'c a street running through from Broad- way to larch Street and known as 23th Street thus making use- less the 25 foot strip dedicated by 7erguson and Jocie 3. FerLrrus on. Section 2- The Council cloth find that the said C. E. Ferguson and Jocie S. Ferguson have presented to this Council their petition praying th, =,t the 25 feet by 210 _feet 1:,ing dir- ectly north of lot No. 2-9 of C. E. Ferguson addition and platted as 28th street be abandoned as a city street, and this Council by resol-a -tion ado�)ted on day of 19 directec_ the City Clerl. to give notice by publication once a week for two weeks in some newspaper published in Pulaski County, rkansas, advising the property owners that on this day the vA f. U Council will hear the petition and determine whether the property should be abandoned a a street, and whether all ab?:tting property owners and other persons directly interested had consented to such abandonment. Section 4- That the Iiayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute a deed of conveyance, con- veying all ri ht, title and interest of the City in that part of 28th Street described in Section 3 hereof to the said Joeie 3. Ferguson. Section 5- That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage, and all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereb77 repealed.
