ORDINANCE NO. 4264
AN ORDINANCE REDUCING TIE RATE OF ANNUAL COLLEC-
TIONS OF THE ASSESSIVEN-T OF BENEFITS IN STREET
IMPROVEhIENT DISTRICT N0. 438.
WHEREAS, the annual maturities of bonds and interest
coupons in Street Improvement District No. 438 do not require
as large a percentage annual levy on the assessment of benefits
in said District as is now provided,
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the said several lots, blocks or
other subdivisions of real property within the said Street
Improvement District Igo. 438 be, and they are hereby assessed
according to the assessment list for said Improvement District
as the same now appears in the office of the City Clerk of
the City of Little Rock, and as the same may be annually re-
adjusted by the Board of Assessors, and that six per cent of
said assessment of the value of the benefits on each of said
lots, blocks or other subdivisions of real property within
said district shall be paid on or before the first day of
July of each year, beginning July 1st, 1928, until the whole
of said assessments have been paid.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
-- shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage+
