AN ORDINANCE LEVYING AF; ASSESSPIMT TO PAY FOR LOCAL IMPROVa=S IN CURB & GUTTER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT N0. 472 WHEREAS, the majority in value of the property holders owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in Curb & Gutter Improvement District No. 472 of the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing and gut in such manner and with such materials as the commissioners of the district sha�l determine to be for the best interests of the district the following streets: Taylor Street from the South line of "L" Street to the North line of "H" Street; Polk Street from the Sdtlth line of "L" Street to the North line of "H" Street; !L" Street from Prospect Avenue to the West line of Taylor Street; "I" Street from Prospect Avenue to the Last line of Taylor Street, have petitioned the Council of the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkan for the construction of said improvement, and that the cost thereof shall be a, assessed upon the real property of said district according to benefits received; and, WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block, lot and parcel of real property situated in said district equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and WEMMS, the estimated cost of said improvement is $339403.65; Section 1. THEREFORE, it now is ordained by the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansaaa`Jhat said several lots, blocks and parcels of real 1woperty in said district be assessed according to the assessment list for said improvement district as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk of said City, and that eight per oentum (8 %) on each o said block#, lots and parcels shall be paid amually on or before the 15th day of March until the whole of said local assessment shall be paid, beginning March 15, 1928- Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and from and after its passage, and all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, hereby, are repealed. PASSED: January 9th, 1928.
