AN ORDINANCE LAYING OFF A PORTION OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, INTO A STREET 111PROVEn1ENT DISTRICT TO BE
KNOWN AS STREET IL,:PR OVM1E NT DISTRICT NO.
OF LITTLE ROCK, AND DESIGNATING THE BOUND
TEEEREOF.
ORDINANCE NO• 4254,

,JI�REAS, more than ten owners of real property within
the City of Little Rock, County of Pulaski, Arkansas, have
petitioned the City Council to take steps toward the making
of local improvements therein by forming the territory here-
inafter described into an improvement district for the purpose
hereinafter set out,
THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY Tim CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That Street Improvement District No. 493
of Little Rock, Arkansas, be, and the same is hereby created
and established for the purpose of making local improvements
therein by repaving, in such manner and with such materials
as the Commissioners of said district shall deem to be for
the best interests of the district, the following streets:
Louisiana Street from the south line of West 9th
Street to the north line of -lest 14th Street; 'dest
10th, ';lest 11th, West 12th and dest 13th Streets,
respectively, from the west line of Main Street to
the east line of Center Street,
in accordance with an act of the General Assembly of the State
of Arkansas, entitled "An Act to regulate local improvements
in cities of the first class ", approved March 22, 1881, and
amnedments thereto; that the boundaries of said district shall
include the following described property, lying within the
City of Little Rock, T�Iul.aski County, Arkansas, to -wit:
Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, and Lots 10, 11 and 12 of
Block 66; all of Blocks 67, 68, 69, 171, 170 and
169; Lots 1 to 9, inclusive, of Block 70; Lots 4
to 12, inclusive,of Block 89; and Lots 1, 2, 3 and
7 to 12, inclusive, of Block 168, all in the
Original City of Little Rock.
Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances

in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage,
and the City Clerk is hereby ordered, within twenty (20) days
from the date of its passage, to publish the same in some
newspaper published in the City of little Rock, for one
insertion.
