I—— If 5 An Ordinace Laying off a Portion of the City of Little Rook, Arkansas, into a Street Im- provement District to be kn as Street Im- provement District No _jk !3 as of Little Rock, -Arkansas, and designatin, he Boundaries thereof. WHEREAS, more than ten owners of real property within that portion pf the City of Little Rook, Pulaski County, Arkansas, here- inafter described, have petitioned the City Council to take steps teward making of local improvements therein by forming the territory hereinafter described into an improvement district for the purposes hereinafter set out. THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Little Rock, arkans as : Section 1. That Street Improvement District No 422 _ of Little Rock, Arkansas, be and the same is hereby created and es- tablished for the purpose of making local improvements therein by grading, draining, curbing, guttering, and paving the following streets: Commerce Street from the South Line of EastoNinth Street to the South Line of East Fifteenth Street, East 11th St from the Vlest Line of Commerce Street to the East Line of Rook Street, East 12th St., from the Nest Line of Commerce Street to the East Line of Rock Street, East 13th St., from the Nest Line of Commerce Street to the East Line of Rook Street., all to be done in such manner and with such materials as the Com- missioners of said district shall determine to be for the best interest of the district, in accordance with an act of the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas entitled, "An Act to Regulate Local Improvements in Cities of the 2irst Class" approved March 22, 1881, and amendments thereto; that the boundaries of said district shall include the following property; Beginning at the Southwest Corner of Block 157 of the Original City of Little Hock, run thence Nast along the South Line of said Block 157 a distance of 150 feet; thence North along the center line of Block 157 to the South Line of Block 156 of the Original City of Little Rook; thence East along the South Line of Block 156 to the Southeast corner of Block 156; thence North along the East Line produced of Block 156 to the Southeast Corner of Block 154 of the Original City of Little Rock; thence East along the South Line produced of Block 154 to a point which is 150 feet East of the East Line of Commerce Street; thence North along a line avhich is 150 feet Last of and parallel to the East Line of Commerce Street to the South Line of East Ninth Street; thence westerly kkong the South Line of East Ninth Street to the center of the north side of Block 59 of the Original City of Little Rock; thence South throught he center of Blocks 59 and 58 of the Original City of Little Rock a distance of 510 feet; thence yrest a distance of 150 feet to,the Last Line of 'Zook Street; thence South along the East Line of Bock Street a distance of 1080 feet; thence Last 150 feet; thence South through the center of Blocks 55 and 54 of the Original City of Little Rock a distance of 510 feet; thence East to the point of beginning; and Lot 1, Block 62 of the Original City of Little Rock, and Lot 12, Block 53 of the Original City of Little Mock, Page 2 - Ordinance No. 4251. Section 2. That all Ordinances and parts of ordinances in oonflioS herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage, and the City Clerk is hereby ordered within twenty days from the date of its passage to publish the same in some news- paper published in the City of Little Rock for one insertion.
