ORDINANCE NUMBER 4195.
An ordinance laying off a, certain portion of the City of
Little Rock, Arka sas, into a local improvement District and des-
ignating the boundaries thereof, said District to be '.known as Street
Improvement District Number of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Whereas ten. or more o, =.ners of real property within the
bo- andaries herein mentioned have petitioned the Cite Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to take steps toward the making of
local improvements therein by surfacing with an asphaltic material
wit that type of same which the Commissioners of said District may
deem for the best interests of the District, for the following streets:
Barton Street from the south property line of Nest Markham Street
runnin- south to the north property line of ',:'est Second Street.
Ivow, therefore, be it ordained by the City Co i cil of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas: Section 1. That Street Improvement
District ITumber IZ-)/ of the City of Little toe' -, Arkansas, be, and
the same hereby is created, laid out and established for the purpose
of surfacing with an asphaltic m_.terial with that type of same which
the Commissioners of said District may deem for the best interests
of the District t; -e following streets: Barton Street from the south
property line of ': est Trarkha:, Street running south to the north pro-
perty line of "lest Second Street, ir _ the City of Little Rock, Ark-
ansas, in accordance -:ith an Act of the General Assembly of the State
of 'rkansas entitled "An Act to Regulate the manner of assessing real
property for local improvements in the cities of the first and second
class ", approved March 22nd, 1881, and amendments thereto.
Section 2. That the District hereby created, laid out
and established shall include that portion of the City of Little
Hock, Arkansas, embraced within the boundaries described as fol-
lows; the East Half of Block 2, Capitol ied +r Additioii to the City
of Little Rock, _'Arkansas, the ':;'est Half of Block 1, Capitol View
'Lddition to the City of Little ock, Arkansas.
Section 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict wit'i this ordinance are hereby repealed, and this or-
dinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its
passage and publication, and the City Clerk is hereby ordered ,vith-
in twenty days from the passage of this ordinance to publish same
in some newspaper of general circulation_ in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, for one insertion.
