AN ORDINANCE LAYING OFF A PORTION OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS INTO 9 SIDEWALK, CURB AND
GUTTER DCMOVTMENT DISTRICT NO.
Whereas more than ten (10) owners of real property in
that portion of the City of 1,ittle -hock, in the state of-
Arkansas, hereinafter described, have petitioned the Oity
c
Council to take steps toward the making of a local improve-
ment ifs in said city by forming said territory into a
local improvement district for the purposes herein set forth.
Now, therefore, be it ordained by the City Council of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Section I. 'That all of the real property situated within the fol-
lowing territory, to wit:
Lots Nine (9) and Ten (10) in block Two (2), and
Lots Nine (9) and Ten (10) in Mock One (1), Vir-
ginia Heights Addition to the City of Little Hock,
Arkansas, and the re -plat of the -West 219 feet of
Block Nine (9), Worthen's bub- vivision, being Lots
One (1) to Mght (8) inclusive, facing on Loyd
Court, and the re -plat of Bbdma.n't .Btxb- Division of-,
Block Zight (8) '.lorthen' s Sub- Division, being Lots
One (1) to Eighteen (18) inclusive, facing on Loyd
Court.
for the purposes of building sidewalk, curb and gutter
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot Ten k10)
Block Two (2), Virginia Heights Addition, thence
running west on the south side of Lots Dine (9)
and Ten (10) in said block Two (2), and on the
south side of Lots wine (9) and Ten (10) in block
One (1), Virginia Heights Addition to the City of
Little Rock to the Southwest corner of Lot lvine
(9), Block One (1), Virginia Heights Addition to
the City of Little Hock, Arkansas, and the same
running on the north side of North Street. Then,
beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot rive (5)
of the re -plat of the West 219 feet of' block dine
(9), Worthen's Sub- Division, thence west on the
north side of Loyd Court to the Southwest corner of
Lot Eighteen (18 ) of the re -plat of bodman' s Sub -
Divisiancf Mack Eight,-(8 _ ).'Wprthen1s Sub- Division; .,
a distance of 659 and 85/100 feet. Thence, beginning
at the Northeast corner of Lot Your (4) of the re-
plat of the West 219 feet of block idine (9), Worthen' s

Sub- Division, thence running '4est on the south
side of Loyd Court to the x4orthwest corner of
Lot One (1) of the re -plat of Bodman's Sub -Divi-
iion of..Block Eight (8) Worthen' s Sub - Division,
a distance of 659 and 85/100 feet. Then, be-
�inning at the Northwest corner of Lot Ei hteen
18) of the re -plat of Bbdmam l s Bub - Division- of Block
Eigh -t . (8) ' ; Worthen' s Sub- .uivision, thence
south a distance of 125 feet to the Southwest cor-
ner of said lot on the east side of Park Avenue..
Then, beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot
One (1) of the re -plat of Bbdman' s . Sub- D�yision
-of $lock.Eight (8), dorthen' s Sub - Division,
thence south 130 feet to the Southwest corner of
said Lot One (1) on the east side of Park Avenue.
Be, and the same is hereby laid off into a local improve-
ment district for the purpose of building sidewalk, curb
and gutter along said streettas above described; all of
said sidewalk, curb and gutter to be of such material and
such dimensions and in such manner as the Commissioners to
be appointed may deem for the best interests of the Dis-
trict; and that said district be designated as 6idewalk,
Curb and Gutter Improvement Istrict iio. 471 of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Section II. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
