ORDINANCE N0. ,�43.
An ordinance laying off certain portions
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, into an
improvement district, and designating the pro-
perty embraced therein; laid district to be
known as Street Improvement District No. 4
S, ten or more owners of real property within
that portion of the City of Little Rook, Arkansas, hereinafter
described bive.petitioned the Council of the City of Little Bock,
Arkansas, to take steps towards the making of local improvements
therein by grading, draining, paving with either brick with con-
crete foundation or with vibrolithic or concrete and repairing
or rebuilding the curbs and gutters on and of the following de-
scribed streets lying within said district, to -wits-
Vernon Avenue from the south side of Markham
Street to a line which is the boundary line
between Lots 12 and 13, Block 7, Young's Park
Addition,_ extended s a 0752 sai(L avenue.
Linden Street from the went side of Vernon
Avenue west to a line which in the boundary
line between Lots 18 and 199 Block 7 of Youngts
Park Addition, extended 4d=ft across said street.
All to be done in such manner and with such materials as
the Commissioners of said district shall determine to be for the
best interests of the district.
NOW9 THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansans
Section 1, That Street Improvement District 101 467
of the City of Little lock, Arkansas, be and the same is hereby
created and established for the purpose of grading, draining, paving
with either brick with concrete foundation or with vibrelithie or
concrete and repairing or rebuilding the curbs and gutters an and
of the following described streets lying within said district, to-
wits

Vernon Avenge from the south side of Markham
Street to a line which is the boundary line
between Lots 12 and 13, Block 79 Young's Park
Addition, extended across said avenue.
Linden Street from the west side of Vernon
Avenue west to a line which is the boundary
line between Lots 18 and 19, Block 7 of Youngte
Park Addition, extended Wieft across said street.
All to be done in such manner and with such materials
as the ca®clssioners of said district shall determine to The for
the best interests of the district, in accordance with the Act
of the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas, entitled "An
Act to regulate the manner -of assessing real property for local
improvements in cities of first and second class ", approved March
22nd, 18819 and amendments thereto.
Section 2. That the district hereby created, laid off
and established shall include that portion and only that portion
of the City of Little mock hereby designated as followst-
Lots 4 tc' l6, inclusive, Block as Lots I to 11,
#selual", Block 4 WA LOUIS to 3S inclusive,
Block 71, all in Yam391' s Park Addition to Little
Rock.
That all the real property so described shall compose
said district and shall be subject to the provisions of this ordi-
nance.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall
take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publics..*

the same in some newspaper of general circulation published in
