AN ORDTNA.NCE ASaISSING THE VALUE OF BENEFITS In BE <1tVrTVrD PY THE OWNERS 0 F EACH OF THE SEVERAL: LOTS, PLACES AND PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN STREk'T IMPROVEMENT DISMCT NO. 460 Or THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, a majority in value of the property holders owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in Street Improvement District No. 460 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing, guttering, and paving Booker Street from West 14th Street to nest 20th Street, in such manner and with such materials as the commissioners shall determine to be for the best interests of the district, have petitioned the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the construction of said improvement, and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon-the real property of said district according to the benefits received; and WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block, lot, and Parcel of -real property situated in said district •equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is $24;853.40. N09�, THERPMRM, Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas: Section 1. That the several blocks, lots, and parcels of real property in said district be assessed according to the assessment list for said improvement district as the same now remains in -the office of the City Clerk, and as the same may be annually readjusted by the Board of Assessors, and that six (6 %) Percentum on each of said blocks, lots and parcels shall be paid annually on or before the first day o f May o f each o f the years 1927 to 1941, inclusive. Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passaFs.
