ALD DESIGITATING T +, BOUILMARIES THEREOF. icYA i�RR A S , more than ten owners of real property within that portion of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Aransas , herein- after described, have petitioned the City Council to take steps toward the making of local improvements therein by forming the territory hereinafter described into an im µro vement district for the purposes hzreinafter set out, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAIIM BY TIC CITY COU CIL OF Th�E CITY OF LITTLE ROCK: Section= 1. That said Subway a Street Improvement District io.�_ of the City of Kittle Rock be, and the same is here- by created and established, for the purpose of making local im- provements therein by building a subway under the railroad tracks of the 1assouri Pacific and Chicago, 'lock Island and Pacific Railw$y Companies at the intersection of the right of ways of said railroads with ':lest 7th Street and "haver Avenue, and by grading, draining, curbing, guttering and - pa.vin; tl,.e following streets: Rice Street from the south line of ':.'est 7th ;street to the north line of "lest 8th Street, and Woodrow Street from the south line of ',lest 6th Street (as defined b,- Ordinance No. 2240 of the City of Little Rock, passed Lovember 22, 19115) to the north line of `•`+est 10th Street, produced west across xoodrow Street; all to be done in such manner and with such materials as the Commissioners of said district shall determine to be for the best interests of the district, in the ^ity of Tittle Rock, Arkansas, in accordance with an Act of the G=eneral Assembly of the :Mate of Arkansas, entitled "An Act To Regulate local Im- t provements in Cities Of The First lass ", apse roved I:arch 22, 1881, and amendments thereto; that the boundaries of said district shall include the following property: All that real property lying within 150 feet north of the north line, and all that real property lying within 150 feet south of the south line , respectively, of Seventh )treet from the west line of Dennison Street to a point 150 feet east of the east line of Fain Street. All that real property situated within the follow- ing boundary lines, namely: Begin at the southeast corner of lot 10 os Block 19 of Capitol ? =ill � tension 'ddition, thence west to the southwest corner of said lot, thence south along the north and south center line of said 'lock 19 to the north line of West 8th Street, t' enee west aloe: said north line to the intersection of said north line, produced west, with the west line of the 37issouri 7'acific Railway Company right of way, thence south and west along the west line of said right of way to its intersection with the north line of Rdots (I Coy's Addition, thence west along said north line to a point 150 feet east of the east line of Ioodrow Street, thence south and parallel with the east line of ',' oodrow -itreet to tie north line of test 10th Street, thence west alon; said north line, produced crest, to a point 150 feet west of the west line of 'doodrow Street, thence north and parallel to the said west line of Woodrow Street to a point 150 feet south of the south line of Block 2 of `Tower Grove Addition, thence west to the east line of elm :street, thence north alo-1E; the east line of Mlm Street to the northwest corner of lot 20 of `3lock 5 of 'lateau Addition, thence east to tie northeast corner of lot 14 of Block 7 of Plateau Addition, thence southeast along the north lines of Blocks 7 and 8 of Plateau Addition and Block 2 of Bodeman's Addition to the west line of Valentine Street, thence east to the port -yeast corner of lot 13 of Block 12 of Capitol View Addition, thence south along the east line of said lot .13 to the southeast corner of said lot 13, thence east to the northeast corner of lot 12 of clock 11 of Capitol View Addition, thence south to the south line of 'est Capitol Avenue, thence east to the east line of Dennison Street, thence south to the north line of the lassouri pacific Rail- way Company's right of way, thence south and west along the north line of said right of way to the east line of Rice Street, thence south to the northwest corner of lot 4 of Block 22 of Capitol I---ill Extension Addition, thence east to the west line of Dennison Street, hence south to point of beginning. Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict he- rewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall .take effect and be in force from and after its passage. And the City Clerk is hereby ordered, within twenty (20) days from the date I of its passage, to publish the same in some nevispaper published in the City of 'Little ''ock for one insertion.
