ORDINANCE NO. 4104.
41Y ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF THE BENEFITS TO
BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL
LOTS, BLOCKS, RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAYS OR OTHER
SUBDIVISIONS OF LAND WITHIN STREET IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT N0, 423 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a majority in value of the owners of real
property owning real property adjoining the locality to be
affected and situated within Street Improvement District No. 423
of the City of Little Rook, Arkansas, organized for the purpose
of making local improvements therein by draining, curbing,
guttering and paving, in such manner and with such materials
as the commissioners of said district shell determine to -b�e for
the best interests of the distriet,the street set out in their
petition, have petitioned the City Council of the City of Little
Rook for the construction of said improvements and that the cost
thereof shell be assessed upon the real property within said
district according to the benefits received; anal..
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every lot,
block, railroad right of may or other subdivision of land
situated within said district equals or exceeds the local assess-
ment thereon; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
Sixty thousand five hundred and no /100 Dollars ($600500.00);
THEREFORE, IT IS NOW ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. That the said several lots, blocks,
railroad right of ways or other subdivisions of real property
within said Street Improvement District No. 423 be, and they are,
hereby assessed according to the assessment list for said
improvement district as the same now remains in the office of the
City Clerk of the City of Little Rock ,and as the same may be
annually readjusted by the board of assessors, and that ten per

eentum (10%) of said assessment of the value of the
benefits of each of said lots, blocks, railroad right of ways
or other subdivisions of real property within said Street
Improvement District No. 423 shall be paid on or before tia-
and on and after the 15th day of February of each year thereafter
15th day of February, beginning February 15, 1927 ,/until the
whole of said assessment shall have been paid.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
