VII]EREAS, a majority in value of the owners owning
real property adjoining the locality to be affected and:
situated within the Scott Street Annex to Street Improve-
meat District 111o. 356, organized for the purpose of drain-
ing and re- paving, in such manner ara d with such :ra terials
as the commissioners of said district shall determine to be
for the best interests of the territory annexed, the street
set out in their petition, have petitioned the City Council
of the City of Little Rock for the construction of said
improvement and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon
the real property within said annexed territory according
to the benefits received; and,
WHEREAS,, said benefits received by each and every lot,
block or other subdivision of land within said annex equals
or exceeds the 100a1 assessment thereon; and,
�44HEREA6, the estimated cost of said improvement is
Two Thousand Forty -seven and 10100 Dollars ($2047.10);
TIMREFORE, IT IS NOW ORDAIBED 3i THE CITY CL U1WIL OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE RUCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the said several lots, blocks or
other subdivisions of land within_ said Scott Street Annex
to Street Improvement District No. 356 be, and they are,
hereby assessed according to the assessment list for said
annex, as the same now remains in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Little Rock and as the same may be
annually readjusted by the board of assessors , and
that twenty -five tier centurg (25jo) of said assessment
of the value of the benefits of each of said lots, blocks
or other, subdivisions of real property in said district
shall be paid annually on or before the ist day of October
of each _year, beginning October 1st, 1926, until the vh ole
of said assessment shall have been paid.
Section 2. That all ordinances or -carts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repe: led, and_
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage.
