Rock, Arkansas, passed on June 7, 1926, duly approved by the
mayor, attested by the city clerk, and published on the k"k
day of Tune., 1926, the city council levied an annual assessment
of five per centum (5 %) for each of the years 1926 to 1940,
inclusive, of the assessed values of benefits, in Sidewalk
Improvement District No. 4a7 of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas; and
REAS, it now appeara that said annual rates or
installments of the assessments of benefits are lower than are.
_ necessary to pay the annual indebtedness of said distriG..
ITO.V, THEREFORK, Be it Ordained by the City Council of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. That Section 1 of said Ordinance IIo. 4040
of the ordinances of the City of Little stock be, and the same is,
hereby amended to read. as: follows:
*Section 1. That the several blocks, lots and parcels
of real property in said district be assessed according to the
assessment list for said improvement district as the same now

remains in the office of the city clerk, and as the same may be E

annually readjusted by the board of assessors, and that
percentum on each of said blocks, lots, and parcels: shall be
paid annually on or before the first day of August of each of the
years 1926 to 1940, inclus -ive.*
Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be, and the same are, hereby repealed, and
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage.
