ORDINANCE N0. 4054.
AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF TIM
BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF
EACH OF THE SEVERAL LOTS, BLOCKS, RAILROAD
RIGHT OF WAYS, OR OTHER SUBDIVISIONS OF
REAL PROPERTY WITHIN CURB & GUTTER IMPROVE -
IMENT DISTRICT No 429 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a majority in value of the owners of real
property owning real property adjoining the locality to be
affected and situated within Curb & Gutter Improvement
District No. 429 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
organized for the purpose of making local improvements
therein by grading, draining, curbing and guttering, in such
manner and with such materials as the commissioners of said
district shall determine to be for the best interests of the
district,the streets set out in their petition, have petitioned
the City Council of the City of Little Rock for the construction
of said improvements and that the cost thereof shall be assessed
upon the real property within said district according to the
benefits received; and
!J%MREAS, said benefits received by each and every lot,
block, railroad right of way or other subdivision of real property
within said district equals or exceeds the local assessment to
thereon; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvements is
$79 ,865.80;

OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the said several lots, blocks, railroad
right of ways or other subdivisions of real property within said
Curh cC Gutter Improvement District No. 429 be, and they are,
hereby assessed according to the assessment list for said improve-
ment district, as the same now remains in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Little Rock and as the sane may be
annually
readjusted
by the board of
assessors, and that
6 2/3 per
centum of
said assessment
of the value of the
benefits of each of said lots, blocks, railroad right of
ways or other subdivisions of real property within said
district shall be paid annually on or before the first day
of September of each year beginning September 18t, 1926
until the whole of said assessment shall have been paid
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
