be done in such manner and v�ith such materials as the cowiiis::ioners
of said district shall determine to be for the best interests of tl-e
territory, petitioned to be annexed, have petitioned the City Council
of the
7i-'.y of Little Rock, lrkansas, for the constru:;tion of said
improvement and that the cost tl.ereof be assessed upon the real
property within said district accordin, to the benefits received;
and
YTHEREAS, said benefits received by eac of the several lots,
blocks, railroad right -of -ways or other subdivisions of land i.-ithin
t l,e said Fast Third Street Annex equals or exceeds the local assess-
ment t'-:ereon; and,

SECTI,r 1. That the said several lots, 'docks, railroad
right -of -ways or other subdivisions of land within the East Third
Street Anne., to °'treet Improvement District ro. 356 of th(; ,ity of Tittle
Rock, be, and they are, hereby assessed according to the assessment list
for said improvement district as the same now remains in the office of

the City Clerk of the City of little Rock, as +-Y;e same may be
annually readjusted by the 3oard of Assessors, and. that ten per
centum (10�) of saie assessment of the value of tr.e benefits of
each of the lots, 'docks, railroad ri:ht -of -ways or other sub-

divisions of land within said Fast Third titre�t Annex shall be
paid arinuaLly on or before the 15th day of June of each, year, until
the whole assessment shall have been paid. The first annual
payment shall be m <..de on or before tree l th da,,- of June, 19�
3 CTION L. :"hat all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and. this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from an(9 after its passage.
