AN CRD_ NANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF THE BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY
THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL BLOCKS, LOTS AND B, RCELS OF LAND
WITHIN STREET IMPROVEMENT DI STRICT NO. 431 OF THE Cl TY OF Lir TLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a majority in value of the property owners owning
property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated within
Street Improvement District No. 431 of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas
organized for the
� s g purpose of making local improvements
therein by grading, draining, curbing, guttering, and paving v4 th
concrete, in szch manner as the Commisd oners to be selected may
deem for the best interests of the district, Tyler Street from 110"
Street to the North boundary line of Newton's Addition, Harrison
Street from 110" Street to the South line of Prospe at Avenue, "R"
Street from the West line of Prospect Avenue to the East line of
Harrison Street, and "Q" Street from the ''Vest line of Prospect
Avenue to the East line.of Tyler Street, have petitioned the City
Council of Little Rock, for the construction of said improvements
and that the costs thereof shall be assessed upon the real proper-
ty within said district accorcl ng to the benefits received; and,
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block,
lot and parcel of real property aL tuated. within said district equals
or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and,
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement, exclusive
of interest, is Fifty -Eight Thousand., Two Hundred Twelve ($58,212.00)
Dollars.
THEREFORE, It is now ordained by the City Council of t`he
City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
Section I. That said several blocks, lots and la reels of
real property in said Street Improvement District No. 431 be and
they are hereby assessed according to the assessment list for said
improvement district as the same now remains in the office of the
City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, and as the same may be
annually readjusted by the Board of Assessors, and that seven and
\ one -half per centum (7J%) of said assessment of the value of bene-
fit* of each of said blocks, lots and parcels of land shall be paid

annually on or before the 1st day of May of each year for the first
nine (9) years, and eight and one -half per centum (8) for the
tenth (10) year, or until Seventy -Six per centum (76 %) of said
assessment shall have been paid. Th8 first annual payment shall be
�made on or before the 1st day of May, 1926.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage.
