Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Little Rock. Section 1. That the Superintendent of Public Works shall charge for each permit issued under the terms of this ordi- nan ce, to be collected by the City Collector, as follows: A minimum fee dor a permit for any building or remodeling of any existing building shall be $2.50 ,'except for ordinary repairs. Ordinary repairs of buildings or'structures or of the plumbing, drainage, or piping thereof may be made on approval of the Superintent of Public ','forks, st without charge, but such repairs shall not be donstrued to include the removal of any stone, concrete or brick wall, or any portion thereof; the removal or cutting of any beams or supports, or the removal, change or closing of any staircase, or opening in the exterior wall; or the alteration or removal of any house sewer, private sewer, or drainage system, or soil, waste or vent pipe;-or repairs or alterations of light or'power wiring. For frame construction a charge of one - quarter ( -J) cent per square toot of floor area. For non - fireproof construction a charge of one -half (2) cent ,Per square foot of floor area including roof construction. For fireproof construction a charge of three - quarter (4) cent per square foot of floor area including roof construction. SECTION 2. The application for the permit hereinbefore provided for shall be accompanied by an affidavit duly executed by the person applying for the permit, stating the floor area of the building to be erected, unles-- application is accompan- iW by plans required to be furnished under existing ordinance firm or SECTION 3. Any personj--corporation who shall violate any provision of this ordinance or who shall fail to comply with any of its requirements shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be subject-$O a fine of not less than FIVIE DOLLARS nor more than T IM -TTY -FIVE DOLLARS for each offense, and each and every day's continuaa violation of this ordinance shall be deemed a seperate offense.
