BE IT ORDAINED BY THE .CITY COUNCIL OF THis' CITY OF LITTLE ROOK:
Section 1. That the sum of $3480.. be and the same is
hereby ap- )Topriated out of any moneys in the General
Revenue Fund, not otherwise appropriated, for the pur-
pose of purchasing, for the police, health and garbage
departments, the following auto equipment from tha
following firms:
From Shoemaker -Bale Auto Co.;
Two if id Touring cars and equipment for the
police Department;
One Ford Roadster and equipment for Health
deplirtment;
One Ford Roadster and equipment for garbage
demrtment ;
One old raodster, used by the health department;
one old Chevrolet car, used by the garbage d(-partment;
and one old touring car, used by the police department
are to be turned over to Shoemaker -Bale Company -fox which
the c ity is to receive credit.
From Freeman & Freeman, Inc.:
One ?)Td Roadster and equipment for the health
department ;
Three Ford Tor_ring cars and equipment, for police
d apar tment :
Two old Ford cars, used by the police department
to be turned ovoY to Freeman & Freemanfor which the city
is to receive credit.
Section 2. The ?!apor and City Clergy; are hereby authorized
and directed to draw the city,s warraki.s, one in the sum
of X1694.40, made payable to Shoomalcdr -Bale Auto Co. and
one in the sum of .1785.60, made payable to Freeman &
Freeman, both at such maturity as in their discretion
is for the b -st intarest of the city.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effoct from and
after its passage.
