ORDINANCE NO. MO.
AN ORDINANCE Re- assessing the Value of the Benefits to be Received
by the Owners of Each of the Several Blocks, Lots, and Parcels of
Land Within Curb, Gutter & Storm Sewer District No. 269 of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas.
WHEREAS, a majority in value of the property owners owning
property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated within
Curb, Gutter & Storm Sewer District No. 269 of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of making local improve-
ments therein by constructing curbs and gutters on each side o.f Ced-
ar Street from Prospect Avenue to Asher Avenue, or the Hot Springs
Pike,,and for the changing of said plans to provide for the build-
ing of a gutter 4J feet in width on each side of the street on Tenth
Street from Oak to Cedar and on Oak Street from Tenth to Twelfth, in-
cluding all intersections and necessary storm water drainage, have
petitioned the City Council of Little Rock, for the constructing -of
said improvements as changed, and that the cost thereof shall be as-
sessed upon the real property within said district according to the
benefits received; and,
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block,
lot, and parcel of -real property situated within said district e-
quals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and,
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvements as provid-
ed in the revised or changed plans, exclusive of interest, is
$3,602.001
FORE, it is now ordained by the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. That said several blocks, lots, and parcels of
real property in said Curb, Gutter & Storm Sewer District No. 269 be

and they are hereby re- assessed -Jtoording to the re- assessment list for
said curb, gutter & storm sewer district as the same now remains in
the office of the City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, and as the
same may be annually readjusted by the board of assessors, and that
five (6) per centum of said re- assessment of value of benefits of each
of said blocks, lots, and parcels of land shall be paid annually on or
before the 1st day of March of each year, for the ensuing and consec-
utive seventeen (17) years, beginning with 1926, until eighty -five (86j
per centum of said re- assessment shall have been paid. The first an-
nual payment shall be made on or before the 1st day of March, 1926.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in fall
force and effect from and after its passage.
