AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF BENEFITS TO
BE RECEIVED BY-THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL
LOTS, BLOCKS AND PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN STREET
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 425, OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
1�IIEREAB , �ssse� a majority in value of the property
holders owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and
situated in Street Improvement District No. 425 of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of grading, drain-
ing, curbing, guttering and paving, in such manner and with such
materials as the Board of Commissioners shall determine to be for
the best interests of the District, the following Street:
Kest 11th Street from the nest property line of
Johnson Street to the East property line of the
Itreet ]noun as Valmar Street (being the street,
which passes along the beat side of Blocks 4 and
5, T. B. Martinis Addition),
have petitioned the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Ark-
ansas, for the construction of said improvement and that the cost
thereof shall be assessed upon the real property of said district
according to the benefits received; and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block,
lot and parcel of real property situated in said district equals or
exceeds the local assessment thereon; and
,
WHEREAS, the estimats4 .t. of said improvement is
$110242.00,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the several blocks, lots and parcels of
real property in said district be assessed according to the assess-
ment list for said improvement district as the same now remains in
the office of the City Clerk, and as the same may be annually re-

adjusted by the Board of Assessors, and that eight (8%) percentum
on each of.said blocks, lots and parcels shall be paid on or before
the 15th day of January, 1926, and that seven (7 %) percentum on sash
of said blocks, lots and parcels shall be paid annually on or before
the 15th day of January of each of the years 1927 and 1928, and-that
six and one -half (6) percentum on each of the said blocks, lots and
parcels shall be paid annually on or before the 15th day of January
for each of the years 1929 to 1940 inclusive.
SECTION 2: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed, and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its pas-
sage.
