ORDINANCE N0. 3966.
An Ordinance assessing the value of the benefits
to be received by the owners of'eaoh of the several blocks,
lots and parcels of land within Street Improvement District
So. 4329 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
WHEREAS, the majority in value of the property .
owners owning property adjoining the locality to be affected
and situate in Street Improvement District No. 422, organized
for the purpose of draining, ourbing and paving in such
manner and with such materials as the Commissioners of said
District shall determine shall be for the best interests of
the District, Spruce Street from the Forth property line of
Lee Avenue to the South property lime of Prospect Avenue; -
and Woodlawn Avenue from the West property line of Palm Street
(formerly known as Gum Street) to the East property line
of Monroe Street (formerly known as Laurel Street), have
petitioned the Council of the City of Little Rook for the
construction of said improvement, and that the cost thereof
ehall be assessed upon the real property of said district,
according to the benefits received; and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every
black lot and parcel of real,p4o situated in said

WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
$18,948.88, exclusive of interest;
WOW, THEREFORE, it is ordained by the City Council
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. - -That said several blocks, lots and
parcels of real property in said district be assessed according
to the assessment list for said improvement district as the
same now remains in the office of the City Clerk of the City
of Little Rock, and as the same may be annually readjusted by
the Board of Assessors, and that 8.5% of said assessment of
value of benefits of each of said blocks, lots and reels
of land shall be paid annually on or before th day of
November of each year until 85 percentum of said assessment
shall have been paid. The rst annual payment shall be
made on or before the i,y of November, 1925.
Section 2.- -That a 1 ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
-Abs in full force and effect from and after its passage.
