ORI UTANCE NUMBER , ��5� • '' An Ofdinanoe appkroving abandonment by the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company of its exist- ing passenger station facilities located on the -north aide of Markham Street between Oommeroe Street and Sherman Street, in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, and authorizing and approving, in lieu of and substitution there- for, the location and operat ion of passenger station facilities at another and different place in said City; and for other purposes, t REAS, by virtue of Ordinances Numbers 13 and 52 of the Council of the City of,Little Rock, Arkansas, passed Deoem- ber 24th, 1879, and June 6th, 1882, respectively, Missouri Pacific Railroad Company, as successor to the respective mentioned and-described in said Ordinances, has operated, for a `'great number of years, passenger An. complianQe 4th the terms of said Ordinances, Little Rock, on the north side of Markham Street Street and Sherman Street is the said City, and Railroad Companies constructed and station facilities, for the City of between Commerce WHEREAS, Missouri Pacific Railroad Company desires to abandon saLd depot and in lieu thereof and substitution therefor to establish and maintain a passenger depot on the east aide of Main Street, north of Markham Street, more particularly at a place at or in the immediate vicinity of the approach on the Little Rock side of the Pulaski County free bridge at the foot of Main Street in the City of Kittle Rock; NOW, IN CONSIDERATION OF THE FOREGOING, BE IV OR- ]W ED by the Council of the City of Little Rock, State of Arkansas, as follows: Section le That Missouri Pacific Railroad Company be and it is hereby granted permission and authority to abandon its existing passenger depot as established. and maintained pursuant to: the terms of Ordinances Numbers 13 and 52 of the City of Little Rock, r and as now located on the north side of Markham Street between 4ommeroe Street and Sherman Street, in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and in lien of and substitution for said facilities, and in fulfillment of the provisions of said Ordinances respecting 1' th# establishment and maintenance of a passenger depot as in Baia Ordinances defined, to establish and maintain a passenger depot, for the City of Little Rock, at a place on the east side of Main Street, north of Markham Street, more particularly at or in the immediate vicinity of the approach on the Little Rock side of the Pulaski County free bridge at the foot o.f Main Street in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, Section 2. That said Ordinances umbers 13 and 52 be, but only in the laatl'i ©-r and to the extent herein expressly recited, amended or modified; otherwise the same and each thereof shall be and continue in fu,11 force, effect and virtue. Bectian'3e That this Ordinance shall be of no force or effect unless within thirty days after its approval by the Mayor, said Missouri Pacific RaLlroad Company shall file with the City Clerk its acceptance thereof, Section 4.
