ORDINANCE NO. )OUt-
An Ordinance laying off a certain portion of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, into a local improvement district and
designating the boundaries thereof, said district to be knoft
Street Improvement District No. �, of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas.
Whereas, ten or more owners of real prorerty within the
bounds herein mentioned have petitioned the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkeasas, to take steps towards the making
of local improvements therein by SaWWW draining, curbing,
and paving in such manner and with such materials as
the commissioners of said district shall determine to be for the
best interests of the diettlot, all`/Ithat portion of Spruce
Street from the north property line of Lee Avenue to the south
property line of Prospect Avenue; and Woodlawn Avenue from the
west property line of Palm Street (formerly known as Gum Street)
to the east rrorerty line of Monroe Street (formerly known as
Laurel Street) .
Therefore, be it Ordained by the City Council of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas;
Section 1. That Street Improvement District No.
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be and the same is hereby
created, laid out and established: for the purpose of

draining, curbing, �i `'and ppaving in such manner a331'
such materials as the commissioners of said district shall
determine to be for the best interests of the district; the
portions of Spruce Street, and Woodlawn Avenue, above described,
in said City of Little Rock, Arkansas, in accordance with an act
to regulate the manner of assessing real property for local
imrrovements in cities of the first and second class,
approved
March 22, 1881, and amendments thereto.

Section 2. That the district hereby created, laid out
and established shall include that pohtion
of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, embraced within the
boundaries herein-
after described as follows:
Lots 1, 2, 32 4, 5, 6, 10, 11 & 12,
Block
Lots 1, 2, 3, 7, 89 9, 10, 11 & 12,
Block 25
Lots 1, 2, 33 42 50 61 70 8 & 9,
Blook 35;
Lots 3, 4, 5, 61 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11,
Block 36;
Lots 1, 2, 3, 41 5, 6 & 73,
Block 37;
Lots 8, 9, 10, 113% 12, 13 & 14,
Block 38;
Lots 4 & 51
Block 47,
all above property lying and being in the
Sub - division of Blocks
23 to 51, inclusive, of Pulaski Heights Addi uion to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas.
Section 3. That all ordinances and
parts of ordinances
in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed and this
ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and
after its passage and publication; and the city clerk of Little
Rock, Arkansas, is hereby ordered within
twenty days from the
passage of this ordinance to publish the
same in some newspaper
in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for
one insertion.
