3 A RESOLUTION TO SET NOVEMBER 3, 2009, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON APPROXIMATELY 516
5 FEET OF THE WEST 29TH STREET RIGHT -OF -WAY, LOCATED
6 IMMEDIATELY WEST OF FAIR PARK BOULEVARD, IN THE CITY OF
7 LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
10 vacate and abandon approximately 516 feet of the West 29"' Street right -of -way located immediately
11 West of Fair Park Boulevard, pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14-
12 54 -104.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned right -of -way shall be held
at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six
o'clock on the 3rd day of November, 2009.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
