2 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE SOURCES AND USES OF 2007 AND 2008
3 HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER
4 PURPOSES.
5 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock receives HOME Investment Partnership Program funds from the
6 Department of Housing and Urban Development; and
7 WHEREAS, in September of 2006 and 2007, the City of Little Rock Board of Directors approved
8 funding for a portion of the 2007 and 2008 HOME funds; and
9 WHEREAS, two public hearings have been conducted in order to assure the maximum citizen input
10 possible; and
11 WHEREAS, on September 3, 2009, the Project Review Committee voted to recommend the project
12 identified below utilizing a portion of the 2007 and 2008 HOME funds.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The Board recommends submission of the following projected use of the 2007 and 2008
16 HOME Investment Partnership funds:
17 Janet McDonald, James McDonald and Barbara Jones (8 units) $36,345
18 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
19 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
20 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
21 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
22 resolution.
23 Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
24 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
