RESOLUTION NO. 12,996
A RESOLUTION TO SET JULY 21, 2009, AS THE DATE OF HEARING ON
THE PETITION TO ABANDON A PORTION OF THE WEST CAPITOL
AVENUE RIGHT -OF -WAY ADJACENT TO LOT 7, BLOCK 252, ORIGINAL
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK (900 WEST CAPITOL AVENUE); AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
vacate and abandon the North 0.3 feet of the 80- feet -wide West Capitol Avenue right -of -way adjacent to
Lot 7, Block 252, Original City of Little Rock, (900 West Capitol Avenue), Little Rock, Arkansas,
pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned right -of -way shall be held
at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six
o'clock on the 21St day of July, 2009.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock,
