5 FOOT -WIDE ASBURY ROAD RIGHT -OF -WAY LOCATED SOUTH OF
6 KANIS ROAD LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AS PUBLIC RIGHT -OF -WAY;
7 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
10 vacate and abandon the platted but undeveloped 40- foot -wide Asbury Road right -of -way located South of
11 Kanis Road and adjacent to Tracts 10, 11, 13, 14, 15 and 16 of Asbury Acres, Little Rock, Arkansas,
12 pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned right -of -way shall be held
16 at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six
17 o'clock on the 16'' day of June, 2009.
18 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
19 by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
20 County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
