3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
4 AN ANNUAL CONTRACT WITH DOWNING SALES AND SERVICE, INC., TO
5 PROVIDE OEM TENNANT STREET SWEEPER REPAIR PARTS FOR THE
6 CITY'S TENNANT STREET SWEEPERS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, an invitation to bid was issued for the annual contract to provide OEM Tennant Street Sweeper
9 repair parts for use in the City's Tennant Street Sweepers, and Downing Sales and Service, Inc., submitted the most
10 responsive and responsible bid; and
11 WHEREAS, the annual contract will not exceed Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) per year and will have
12 an option to renew each year up to five (5) additional years, upon agreement of both parties;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
14 LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into an annual contract with
16 Downing Sales and Service, Inc. for the purchase of OEM Tennant Street Sweeper repair parts for use in the City's
17 Tennant Street Sweepers, in an amount not to exceed Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) per year.
18 Section 2. The contract will be for one (1) year, with an option to renew each year up to five (5) additional
19 years.
20 Section 3. Funds for this purpose are to be allocated from Fleet Support Services Budget Accounting unit
21 600020.
22 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this
23 resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect
24 the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or
25 adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution.
26 Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the
27 provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
