A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH "A" DEMOLITON
FOR ASBESTOS ABATEMENT AND DEMOLITION OF TWENTY -ONE (21)
RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Ward's
Asbestos Removal, Inc., the lowest bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to
exceed $68,350 for asbestos abatement, demolition and removal of twenty -one (21)
condemned residential properties located within the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. Funding for this project would be charged to 108359- S35T700.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
