RESOLUTION NO. 12,973
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
CONTRACT WITH SOFTWARE HOUSE, INCORPORATED, THROUGH THE
ARKANSAS STATE CONTRACT, FOR THE PURCHASE OF COMPUTER
SERVER SOFTWARE AS PART OF THE UPGRADE OF THE POLICE
RECORDS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Police Department will be purchasing computer servers to run its new Records Management
System and must purchase computer server licenses for the servers; and
WHEREAS, Software House, Incorporated is the State contract vendor for all software utilized by the City of
Little Rock.
WHEREAS, the total cost for utilizing the State Contract for the purchase of the computer servicer software is
Seventy Thousand, Nine Hundred Forty Dollars ($70,940.00).
- NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with Software
House, Incorporated, through the Arkansas State Contract, in the amount of Forty Thousand, Nine Hundred Forty
and Dollars ($70,940.00);
Section 2. Funding for this purchase will be through The Edward Byrne Justice Assistance Grant of 2007.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this
resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect
the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the
provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
