RESOLUTION NO. 12,967
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
AN ANNUAL CONTRACT WITH WASTE MANAGEMENT TO PROVIDE
COMMERCIAL TRASH COLLECTION FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS SOLID
WASTE SERVICES DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received bids, under Bid #C09007, for an APO to provide commercial
trash collection for Solid Waste Services, and the lowest responsible and responsive bid was received from Waste
Management; and
WHEREAS, the annual contract price is Sixty-two Thousand, Eight Hundred Sixteen Dollars ($62,816.00) per
year with an option to extend the contract yearly for two (2) additional years, upon agreement of both parties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Sectionl. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into an annual contract with
Waste Management for commercial trash collection for the amount of Sixty-two Thousand, Eight Hundred Sixteen
Dollars ($62,816.00).
Section 2. The contract may be renewable annually for two (2) additional years upon agreement of both parties.
Section 3. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from Solid Waste Services Budget Account #101002-
63202.
Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this
resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect
the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution.
Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the
provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
