3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE PAYMENT TO THE ARKANSAS
4 HIGHWAY AND TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT FOR THE CITY
5 CONTRIBUTION TO PHASE I OF THE I -430 AND I -630 INTERCHANGE
6 MODIFICATION PROJECT AHTD JOB NO. 061198; AND FOR OTHER
7 PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the AHTD has undertaken a project to reconstruct the I -430 and I -630 Interchange to improve
10 traffic flow and reduce traffic congestion, and
11 WHEREAS, it is customary and appropriate that the City contribute an appropriate share to the project for
12 work within City rights -of -way;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
14 LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to approve a payment to the AHTD of $61,752.74.
16 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this
17 resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect
18 the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or
19 adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution.
20 Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the
21 provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
22 Section 4. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
