3 A RESOLUTION TO SET DECEMBER 16, 2008, AS THE DATE OF HEARING ON
4 THE PETITION TO ABANDON TWO SANITARY SEWER EASEMENTS LOCATED
5 WITHIN SHACKLEFORD CROSSING, IN THE 2800 BLOCK OF SHACKLEFORD
6 ROAD, AS A PUBLIC RIGHT -OF -WAY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
9 vacate and abandon two sanitary sewer easements located within Shackleford Crossing, in the 2800
10 Block of Shackleford Road, Little Rock, Arkansas, pursuant to its general police power authority under
11 Ark. Code Ann. §14 -54 -104.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
13 ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned right -of -way shall be
15 held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at
16 six o'clock on the 16`h day of December, 2008.
17 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner
18 prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in
19 Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
