A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO VARIOUS CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The following named person(s) are herby appointed as members of the
following Boards and Commissions:
LITTLE ROCK CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION:
Ronald L. Routh, appointed to serve an unexpired term left vacant by the resignation of
Barbara Harvel, said term expiring on April 1, 2011.
LITTLE ROCK HOUSING AUTHORITY:
Ellen Gray, reappointed to serve a second term, said term expiring on on October 24,
2013.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.

Attached is a Certificate of Reappointment in connection with Ms. Ellen Gray as a
Commissioner of the Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock.
It will be appreciated if you will see that these documents are placed in the proper channels for
the City Board of Directors to affirm this reappointment. I am available to answer any questions
that may arise.
After the City Board of Directors has taken action and all necessary signatures have been
secured, we would greatly appreciate your notifying our office so that we may arrange to have
the paperwork picked up.
As always, we really appreciate working with you and Ms. Knight- Blocker in this matter of
mutual interest.

EXTRACT OF THE MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING
THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS HELD
ON THE 27th DAY OF AUGUST, 2008
The Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas met in Regular Session at the Administration Offices, 100 South Arch Street,
Little Rock, Arkansas at 12:00 p.m. on August 27, 2008.
The Chairperson called the Regular Session to order and upon roll call the
following Commissioners answered present:
Commissioners present: Gray, Walker, Nishimura, Polite, and Webb
The Chairperson thereupon declared a quorum present and the regular meeting
called to order.
Commissioner Walker introduced the following Resolution and moved for its
adoption.
RESOLUTION NO: #6422
REAPPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER ELLEN GRAY TO LRHA BOARD
Commissioner Polite seconded the Motion. The following vote was recorded as
follows: "Ayes " - Commissioner Gray, Walker, Nishimura, Polite, and Webb /
"Nays" -None. The Chairperson thereupon declared the motion carried and the
Resolution adopted.
There being no further business to properly come before the Board, the meeting
was adjourned.
CERTIFICATE OF APPOINTMENT
We, Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock Arkansas, by
virtue of the authority vested in us by the Act to Provide a Method of Filing Vacancies on
Municipal Housing Authority Boards, Act 77 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1943,
do hereby reappoint Ellen Gray as a Commissioner of the Housing Authority of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas for a term beginning October 1, 2008 and to expire September 30,
2013.
IN WITHNESS WHEREOF, we have hereunto signed our name as Commissioners
of the Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas and cause the official
Corporate Seal of Authority of Little Rock, Arkansas to be attached hereto this 27th day of
August, 2008.
