RESOLUTION NO. 12,768
A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO BURKHALTER TECHNOLOGIES,
INC. FOR IMPROVEMENTS ON FOURCHE DAM PIKE FROM RICHLAND TO THE
FOURCHE CREEK BRIDGE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, bids were solicited for Fourche Creek Bridge Street Improvements, Bid No.08 -254, from
2004 Bond Capital Improvement Program remaining balances; and
WHEREAS, Burkhalter Technologies, Inc. submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid for
construction services in the amount of $325,172.78 ($295,611.62, plus 10% contingencies).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Burkhalter
Technologies, Inc. for construction of Fourche Dam Pike Extension from Richland to Fourche Creek
Bridge Street Improvements, Bid No.08 -254, for construction services in the amount of $325,172.78
($295,611.62, plus 10% contingencies).
Section 2. Funding for Fourche Dam Pike Extension from Richland to Fourche Creek Bridge Street
Improvements, Bid No.08 -254 is from Bond Capital Improvement Program remaining balances.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shalt remain
in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
originally a part of the resolution.
Section 4. Repeater. ALL laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
