A RESOLUTION TO SET OCTOBER 21, 2008, AS THE DATE OF
HEARING ON THE PETITION TO RESCIND THE DENIAL OF A REQUEST
FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW A DAY CARE CENTER
AT 1102 WEST 21ST STREET; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk for the rescission of the Planning
Commission's action in denying a request for a conditional use permit to allow a day care
center in the downstairs unit of a two -story duplex located on the R -4 zoned property at 1102
West 21St Street, pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14 -54-
104, in the City of Little Rock.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The hearing on the resolution to rescind the denial of a request for a
conditional use permit to allow a day care center in the downstairs unit of a two -story duplex
located on the R -4 zoned property at 1102 West 21St Street shall be held at a meeting of the
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the
21St day of October, 2008.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner
prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper
published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little
Rock.
