A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT TO
RED STONE CONSTRUCTION GROUP, INC.
FOR BOND STREET IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for Bond Street Improvements project, Bid No.08 -242,
for improvements of Bond Street north of Roosevelt Road to collector street standards
AND, Red Stone Construction Group, Inc. submitted the lowest responsible bid,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Red
Stone Construction Group, Inc. for construction of Bond Street Improvements project,
SECTION 2. Funding for Bond Street Improvements, Bid No.08 -242 is from 2004
Bond Capital Improvement Program remaining balances with a 50% match from State
Economic Development Funds. Amount for construction services: $317,769.65
($288,881.50, plus 10% contingencies).
SECTION 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions
of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared
or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution.
SECTION 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are
inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of
such inconsistency.
SECTION 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
adoption.
