MINUTES
BOARD OF DIRECTORS RECONVENED MEETING
May 27, 2008 - 4:00 PM
The Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas met in a reconvened session with
Mayor Mark Stodola presiding. Nancy Wood, City Clerk, called the roll with the following
Directors present: Hendrix, Keck, Cazort, Wyrick, Fortson, Adcock, Wright, Richardson,
Kumpuris, Vice Mayor Hurst and Mayor Stodola.
Mayor Stodola stated this meeting was reconvened for the purpose of annual evaluations for the
City Manager and City Attorney and then asked for a motion to go into executive session for the
purpose of annual performance reviews for the City Manager, Bruce Moore, and City Attorney,
Tom Carpenter.
A motion was made by Director Adcock seconded by Director Richardson to recess the meeting,
and go into executive session for the above stated purpose. By unanimous voice vote of the
Board Members present, the meeting recessed at 6:45 PM.
At 8 P.M. Mayor Stodola called the meeting back in session and announced that Mr. Moore and
Mr. Carpenter had received positive remarks and complements. He announced that Mr. Moore
would receive a 2.5% raise retroactive to January, 2008, and would receive an additional $100
per month car allowance. He announced that the raise would be issued in a separate check.
Mayor Stodola announced the Mr. Tom Carpenter would receive a 2.5% raise which would be
retroactive to January 2008, and the raise would be issued in a separate check.
A motion was made by Director Adcock, seconded by Director Hendrix to accept and implement
the raises for Mr. Moore and Mr. Carpenter. By majority voice vote of the Board Members
present, being two thirds in number the motion carried. Director Wright was not present at the
time of the vote.
Director Keck, seconded by Director Cazort, made a motion to adjourn. By unanimous voice
vote of the Board members present the meeting was adjourned at 8:00 PM.
