RESOLUTION NO. 12,708
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE THREE (3)
PURSUIT RATED POLICE VEHICLES FROM LANDERS FORD, THROUGH THE
2008 STATE CONTRACT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Police Department to replace three (3) pursuit rated police
vehicles that were wrecked and demolished, and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that it is in its best interest to purchase the vehicles from
Landers Ford through the Arkansas State Purchasing Contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
13 Section 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Landers Ford for
14 the purchase of three (3) pursuit rated police vehicles, for the amount of Sixty -six Thousand, Seven
15 Hundred Thirty -eight Dollars ($66,738.00), pursuant to the State Purchasing Contract.

Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Vehicle Replacement Fund.
Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shalt remain
in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
originally a part of the resolution.
