January 7, 1993 - 1:10 P.M.
The Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
reconvened from the January 5, 1993 regular meeting with Mayor
_ Jim Dailey presiding. City Clerk Robbie Hancock called the roll
with the following Directors present: Directors Roy, Sharp,
Lewellen, Mason and Adcock - total 6; Absent - Director Priest -
total 1.
With a quorum present, Mayor Dailey declared the Board of
Directors in session and announced that the purpose of the
reconvened meeting was to recess to executive session to
interview two candidates for the position of Interim City
Manager.
At 1:12 o'clock P.M., the Board of Directors recessed to
executive session.
When the Board of Directors reconvened from executive
session at 3:55 o'clock P.M., Mayor Dailey presided and the
following Directors were present: Directors Priest, Roy, Sharp,
Lewellen, Mason and Adcock - total 6; Absent - None.
Mayor Dailey announced that the Board of Directors had
interviewed Mr. Hayward Battle and Mr. Charles Nickerson. The
position of Interim City Manager had been offered to Mr. Charles
Nickerson, a former Assistant City Manager, with the terms to be
worked out and made public later.
There being no further business to be presented, the Board
of Directors adjourned at 3:55 o'clock P.M. to meet again in
regular session on Tuesday, January 19, 1993 at 6:00 o'clock P.M.
